Glass Harp Weekend 2001

My weekend started Friday, June 30, when my parents and I drove an hour from our home in Harlan, Iowa to Omaha, NE, where I met Ginger Mathes, who had driven two hours to pick me up and take me back to her home in St. Joseph, MO. Early Saturday morning, she, her husband Gary, and myself drove to Kansas City where we boarded a plane for Cleveland, Ohio. In Cleveland, we rented a car and drove to Youngstown for the remainder of the weekend. Monday afternoon, the three of us got on a return flight from Cleveland to Kansas City and from Kansas City, drove back to St. Joseph. Tuesday morning, I boarded a bus for Omaha where my parents were waiting to take me back home. It was a long weekend. And very well worth it!
