Subject: Prayers for Phil

Hi Gang.....

I'm the bearer of some bad news here..... Phil called this morning to let us know that his boy, Ian, was rushed to the hospital. He's been feeling pretty sick the past few days. As it turns out, his appendix burst, and he had to have an emergency appendectomy late this afternoon.

I just spoke to Phil a little while ago, and they were bringing Ian out of surgery, and he's going to be just fine. As if that weren't enough, Olivia has been just as sick and was sent back to the doctor's this afternoon. She was very close to having a severe case of strep throat, but they put her on anti-biotics, and she's going to be fine.

It wasn't exactly the way he wanted to spend his birthday, but he's thankful that he was home and with his family. Phil and family would be very appreciative of your prayers right now. He is also very torn up about his concerts this weekend. He knows the shows are sold out, and feels like he *has* to perform, yet he only wants to be by his boy's side. Ian will be in the hospital for the next several days. Please pray for his guidance to do what's right for him as well.
